MHSAA Captain's Workshop

Earlier this month, five of our student athletes (Tyler Sanderson, Rhofert Castillo, Taylor Duatime, Brandon Arnett, Oliver Bermido) were chosen to participate in the MHSAA Captain's Workshop which is presented by MHSAA and the IMPACT team.

The students participated in an engaging workshop presented by Keith Nord who is a very accomplished motivational speaker and has spoken to Youth and Corporate groups across the USA and Canada.

Keith is a former player, and Captain with the Minnesota Vikings, and has been recognized with numerous citizenship and leadership awards.  Keith had a fantastic speaking style and was able to relate to and interact with the student leaders.

His presentation pushed students beyond their comfort zones and challenged them to think about how, as leaders, they can have a positive impact on others in the school and community.
