Sisters in Spirit

The Sisters in Spirit student group held a memorial ceremony today at lunch time in Room 208.  Today is the International day to put an end to violence against women and the memorial is in honour of missing and murdered aboriginal women.

The group conducted a smudge and will release balloons.  Based on student research, each balloon will display a name of a missing aboriginal woman.
